Szabolcs Olosz was the director of cabinet of the vice-premier of Romania, Mr Bela Marko, from 2005 until 2007. He joined the cabinet in 2005 as a personal adviser of Mr Bela and in 2006 he was promoted to the director of cabinet, where he was responsible for the coordination of the cabinet's work. Before working in Bucharest, he served in the capacity of a director in his own firms dealing with financial counseling and co-operated with service enterprises as well. He has a B.A. degree in economics and a M.A. in sociology with a specialization in political sciences; he finished an M.A. in international marketing and an MA in national security.
