Corina Rebegea worked until recently working for a regional program of the German Konrad
Adenauer Foundation and was involved in several regional and national projects dealing with the consolidation of the rule of law in South East Europe. She has always been interested in justice and politics, as well as in responsible and value-based leadership. In 2009 she developed a Leadership program for Romanian junior lawyers – Leaders for Justice, which is successfully implemented by her organization. She is also a founding member of One World Romania Association, which organizes every year a Human Rights Documentary Film Festival, and a founding member and member of the board of Liderjust Association, whose aim is to implement educational and leadership projects in the justice field. She holds a BA in Political Science from the University of Bucharest and a MA in Human Rights from the University of Manchester, where she studied on a Chevening/OSI Scholarship. Apart from politics and justice reform, she is very interested in transitional justice and international systems of human rights protection. She loves reading, dancing and watching movies.
