Valentyn is a born sportsman, trained in judo, karate and football he learned to overcome fear and pain as well become a team player. This background also helped him develop into an aim-oriented person with clear leadership traits. After finishing school he started to learn economics and management because he wanted to understand the principles of the market economy. Then Valentyn entered Kyiv Taras Shevchenko National University to study political sciences and philosophy. He now holds a PhD degree in philosophical sciences. Philosophy taught him to be aware that sometimes things are not so easy to comprehend as it looks like. In 2001 he started a career in the Ukrainian Parliament, as he strongly believes that Ukraine must be changed and modernized. A goal, which he regards as possible, despite general pessimism, because every society can be changed greatly if there are people who strive for changes. Valentyn would like to become one of those persons who are changing Ukraine.
