Makedonka is a well respected and recognized female activist in Macedonian society with more than twelve years of experience of capacity building and project management in the field of civil society in the area of democracy and human rights, development, women empowerment, elections, PR, advocacy and communication, sexual and reproductive health and gender based violence. Her extensive professional experience includes field experience as Programme Officer in UNFPA, Advisor Development Cooperation and Public Diplomacy Officer in the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Communication Specialist with UNDP; detail assignments within the EECARO office in Istanbul of UNFPA, as well as a founder of relevant civil society organizations like VIZIJA, MOST, Macedonian Women’s Lobby etc. She has a proven track of implementing successful public awareness campaigns for relevant issues in the society. Makedonka holds BA in Bachelor in Political Science and currently is finishing MA in Political Management. During her carrier she attended a number of certified professional development trainings among which is Diploma in Protocol and Etiquette certified by Washington School of Protocol. She is particularly interested in promoting gender equality, working on advocacy for important issues, political analysis and international affairs. She is fond of exploring new cultures with travelling, reading and fashion. She has published two poetry books.
