Daniel Popescu is a Research Officer at the UK National Academic Recognition Information Centre (UK NARIC), a national governmental agency responsible for providing information on vocational and academic for overseas qualifications. His area of expertise: South-Eastern European systems of education. Also, he has taken a lead role in developing and delivering a training session on education in EU accession states, with specific focus on South-Eastern European systems of education. In 2006 Daniel obtained through his master programme a 3 months "Leonardo da Vinci" scholarship in the UK. He holds a degree in Law from the "Petre Andrei" University of Iasi. He continued his studies towards a Master in European Studies (Politics and European Integration) at the Centre for European Studies, "Alexandru Ioan Cuza" University of Iasi, for which he is currently working on his final Master's dissertation. Outside of professional interests, he likes spending time with his family, travelling on the country side and exploring new ideas with other people.
