Claudia is a member of the National Liberal Party since 2005 and for the past 10 years has been strongly involved in civic engagement activities. She has gathered extensive experience in representing young liberals in Romania at a European level. Claudia has also been a member of the LYMEC (European Liberal Youth) Bureau from 2010 to 2012, reconfirmed in 2012 for another mandate. She is one of the most active liberal leaders, participating on behalf of CSL to a high number of congresses, conferences and international events organized by LYMEC, ILFRY (International Liberal Federation of Liberal Youth) ISEEL (Balkan Liberal Network), ELF (European Liberal Forum), ALDE (The Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) or the Friedrich Naumann Foundation. In 2013, Claudia has been elected as the president of the Liberal Student Clubs, after two consecutive terms serving as Vice-president on International Affairs. In 2009 and 2014, she has been the candidate of the Liberal Student Clubs and the National Liberal Youth at the European Parliament elections (last one on the 8th position on PNL’s national list). She is licensed in Economics and Marketing at the Faculty of Economics and Economic Communication from the Academy of Economic Studies (2008) and she graduated her Master’s degree in Marketing Management from the same institution (2010). She is also a graduate of the Romanian Diplomatic Institute in International Diplomatic Relations (2009) and of National Romanian Defense College (2013). Furthermore, Claudia is currently a PhD candidate at the Academy of Economic Studies (ASE) in Bucharest, studying electoral campaigns and electoral marketing. Her main interests lie in foreign politics, youth entrepreneurship and Europe’s digital agenda, and she has maintained a strong focus on youth policies and how to get young people involved in the civil society.
