Aspen Institute Romania and Friedrich Ebert Stiftung are organizing the debate "Eastern Europe's Defence – how can Romania contribute to the European security strategy?", during the EUROSFAT conference, to be held in Bucharest on April 28, 2017.
Eurosfat 2017 takes place at a moment when Romania must define its priorities for the 2019 EU Council Presidency. At the same time, 2017 marks the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome and the creation of the European Economic Community (EEC), as well as 10 years since Romania joined the European Union.
