We are currently accepting applications for volunteering at Bucharest Forum Energy 2014,
which will be held on June 4-5
, at the Palace of the Romanian Parliament
. This is the second edition of the Bucharest Forum Energy, organized by the Aspen Institute Romania in partnership with the Government of Romania’s Ministry of Economy – Department of Energy
and the support of Exxon Mobil, Petrom, Maldon & Wat, the GMF - Black Sea Trust for Regional Cooperation, and the National Development Committee.
The key objective of Bucharest Forum Energy 2014 is to serve the public and private sector decision makers in South Eastern Europe, the Black Sea, Eastern Mediterranean, Caucasus and Central Asia. For Romania, prior editions have already turned into a major government priority program: the Romania East-West Gateway. The Forum will be a mix of plenary sessions and round table format conversations, covering a wide range of topics: from the optimum energy mix and trans-regional interconnections, to energy infrastructure investments and EU-US trade and investment cooperation at the Black Sea and Caspian Sea.
The event will take place over two days and a minimum
presence of one full day (07:00 – 19:00) or two half days is required. Please be advised that, if selected, you will also need to attend short informative sessions on the days prior to the event.
Work during the volunteering program would involve welcoming guests, assisting with organizing materials for the event, registration of onsite attendees, providing useful information to guests, tracking session participation, logistical support.

- previous experience in event and conference organizing
- interest in energy related topics is not mandatory, but would be an advantage
