Aspen Moderators Workshop Seminar

In March, Aspen Romania organized an Aspen Moderators' Training Seminar. This event offered Aspen Romania and other European Aspen Institutes as well as the Ukrainian seminar's team the opportunity to nominate qualified moderators for further training. The Seminar was run by Dr. Todd Breyfogle, Director of Seminars for the Aspen Institute.

It has been the role of the Aspen Seminar for almost sixty years to challenge leaders in all fields to think more critically and deeply on what is the "Good Society" and how, through their actions and mindset, such a society can come to life everywhere. Our proven method of text-based dialogue offers participants a debate forum that guides their reflection on values and solidarity into successful and valuable action, as the main thrusts of societal progress. Participants emerge transformed, focused on the important issues of our times and better prepared to lead in this changing world.
Organizing a joint moderator training seminar with other Aspen Institutes in the world was a long time planed activity for Aspen Romania. Via its specific methodology the training seminar is creating the necessary environment for skills development and fine-tuning of the overall set of techniques and strategies best suited for Aspen Seminar Moderators. Given the central role the Aspen Seminar plays within the gamut of activities and programs run by the Aspen Institutes around the world constant training and exchange of ideas among moderators  contributes to the overall advancement of the Aspen Idea in the world.
