Aspen Institute International Committee Cultural Events

The Aspen Internationa Committee took place this year in Romania, hosting several meetings of the Aspen International Network. Among these, a series of cultural events offered the opportunity for an in depth knowledge of Romanian artists and music. Among these: a visit at the National Museum of Art, a Gala Dinner in the Royal Palace with a recital of String Quartet Semper Quartet, followed by a Dan Puric Performance; a recital of Alexandru Tomescu, playing a Stradivarius Violin, the Elder Voicu one in the Palace of Parliament; an authentic Romanian evening with folk music and dance at Azuga Royal Wine Cellars presented by Salba Prahovei Ensemble and a String Quartet Concert, by Ad Libitum in the Piano Club of the Carol Parc Hotel.
